Do I need to sign a waiver?
Do I need to complete a waiver before visiting?
Yes — all participants must complete a waiver before entering the lagoon. All participants under 18 must have their waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Once your booking is confirmed, you'll receive an email with your waiver link.
What is a waiver?
A waiver is a legal document — also known as a release form, exemption form, disclaimer, liability release, hold harmless agreement, or consent form — that every surfer must sign before entering the lagoon.
How do I complete my waiver?
- Press the Sign Your Waiver button in your confirmation email to open the waiver webpage.
- Choose your park — Sydney or Melbourne.
- Your booking number will pre-populate to show your upcoming bookings. If it does not, enter it manually — your booking number can be found in your booking confirmation email.
- Select the first person to complete their waiver and follow the prompts. Only one Session needs to be selected per person.
- If you booked to surf with other people, forward the confirmation email — including the booking number — to each person so they can complete their own waiver before arriving.
- If you are completing a waiver for a child or anyone under 18, each surfer must have a unique email address. Use the naming convention:
parentemail+childfirstname@gmail.com(example:johnsnow+lilly@gmail.com).
