What is a Parent & Guardian ticket for lessons?

Lesson age requirements
To keep things safe, structured and fun for everyone:

• Children under 13 cannot be booked into 13+ lessons — this applies across all lesson types i.
• For kids aged 6–12, they must be booked into the dedicated 6–12 lesson product.
• Even if your child is confident, we’re unable to place them in older age groups or override bookings.

If the 6–12 lessons are full, the best option is to check back for cancellations or book another day. Lesson capacities are set with safety and guest experience in mind. It is not possible to add additional spots in lessons.

Parent & guardian ticket inclusions and requirements

• For children under 13, a parent or guardian will be issued a ticket to accompany the surfer during the lesson.
• The parent/guardian will receive complimentary wetsuit hire so you can comfortably assist your child if needed. To be redeemed from Surf Rentals.
• Children aged 10 and under must have a parent or guardian present for the duration of the lesson.
• The parent/guardian accompanying the surfer during the lesson must hold the ticket and have a valid active waiver signed at the Welcome Desk before checking in at the Surf Academy.

These guidelines help us deliver a safe, supportive experience for every young surfer in the water.
